This website, weareamr.com, is operated by Artists, Makers and Repairs (amR, "we", "us", "our"). amR provides live chainstitch embroidery for events, custom chainstitch embroidery commissions, and denim and garment repair services in Los Angeles, California and Sydney, Australia.

By accessing or using this website, or by submitting an inquiry, booking or commission request through it, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect as soon as they are posted on this page, and your continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

SECTION 1 - USE OF THE SITE

You must be at least the age of majority in your state, province or country of residence to use this site or submit an inquiry. If you are submitting a request on behalf of a brand, agency or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to do so.

You agree not to use this site for any unlawful purpose, to submit false or misleading information, to transmit viruses or malicious code, or to attempt to interfere with the security or functioning of the site.

SECTION 2 - INQUIRIES, BOOKINGS AND QUOTES

Submitting an inquiry form (for a live embroidery event, custom commission, or repair) does not create a binding agreement. Every project, event or repair is confirmed separately, in writing, once details, pricing and scope have been agreed between you and amR.

Quotes are based on the information provided at the time of inquiry. Final pricing may be adjusted if the scope, guest count, garment condition or other details change once we've had a chance to review your request in full.

We reserve the right to decline any inquiry, booking or commission at our discretion.

SECTION 3 - EVENTS AND LIVE EMBROIDERY

For live embroidery bookings, specific event details (date, location, setup requirements, guest count, pricing, and cancellation terms) will be confirmed directly with you before the event and may be set out in a separate booking confirmation or agreement. Those specific terms take priority over this general page in the event of any conflict.

SECTION 4 - CUSTOM COMMISSIONS AND REPAIRS

For custom embroidery commissions and denim or garment repairs, we assess each item or request individually. Quotes, turnaround times and repair recommendations are estimates based on the information and photos you provide, and may change once we've inspected the item in person.

You are responsible for ensuring that any garment, item or artwork you send us is legally yours to send, or that you have the right to have it customized or repaired.

We take reasonable care with any item sent to us, but we are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear or condition issues that are not part of the agreed repair or customization.

SECTION 5 - ACCURACY OF INFORMATION

We aim to keep the information on this site accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that all content, including pricing, availability, or service details, is free of errors at all times. We reserve the right to correct any errors and to update information on the site without prior notice.

SECTION 6 - INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on this site, including photos, designs, logos and written content, is owned by amR or used with permission, unless otherwise noted. You may not reproduce, copy or use this content without our written permission.

If you submit artwork, a design, or a reference image for a custom commission, you confirm that you have the right to use it and to have it reproduced in embroidery. amR may photograph and share images of completed work, including custom pieces, for portfolio and marketing purposes, unless you request otherwise in writing at the time of your inquiry.

SECTION 7 - THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND TOOLS

This site may contain links to third-party websites (including social media platforms) or use third-party tools that we don't control. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or practices of any third-party site or service.

SECTION 8 - DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES; LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We don't guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, amR and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or our services, beyond the value of the specific service or item involved.

Nothing in this section limits any right you have under applicable consumer protection law in California or Australia that cannot be excluded.
