Overview

For the Levi’s × Junk Food Tees & Jeans concept on Abbot Kinney in Venice, CA, AMR provided live embroidery and on-site denim customization as part of the in-store experience.

Customers had the chance to watch their pieces being customized in real time and leave with something that felt more personal. Bringing embroidery into the store made the process part of the experience and felt like a natural fit for Abbot Kinney.

Our Role

amR handled the live embroidery and on-site customization at the Tees & Jeans space in Venice. We embroidered pieces live in-store while customers watched and took care of the setup and production throughout the day. The goal was to keep things moving, keep the quality consistent and make the whole process easy for the customer.

Our Approach

We built the embroidery setup around the pace of a live retail environment. With denim, the details matter, but so does timing. We kept the workflow simple and steady so each piece could be finished properly without slowing down the experience.

The Result

For Levi’s × Junk Food, the customization gave customers a more personal way to connect with the product. Instead of choosing something straight off the rack, they had the chance to make a piece feel like their own. That made the garments more meaningful to take home and gave customers a stronger connection to what they were buying. For the brand, it made the visit more engaging and gave people another reason to spend time with the product and remember the experience.
